Joan van der Mast
Modern dance and Pilates
Joan van der Mast is an internationally respected teacher, choreographer, coach and consultant in contemporary dance and Laban Movement Analysis. She is a graduate of Codarts (BA Rotterdam), is a certified Laban Movement Analyst (CMA New York) and studied Choreology (MA,Trinity London), Yoga and Stott Pilates. She has a rich and diverse international career as a teacher and choreographer. She currently works at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Zagreb Dance Academy (ADU), Dance Academy Alma Mater Europaea in Ljubljana(Slovenia) and the University of Goce Delchev (North Macedonia).
She is also Artistic Director of the New Dance Center in The Hague (Netherlands). She is a free-lance choreographer and she is a specialist in developing dance curricula for teachers’ and choreographers’ programs in contemporary dance. She developed a special methodology for teaching contemporary dance based on Laban Movement Analysis and New Learning Principles.
Anouk Sergo
Modern Jazz
Anouk Amesz Sergo graduated in 1991 from the dance department of the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem, specializing in ballet, jazz and modern dance. She then continued her studies in New York at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, and danced in several dance productions in the Netherlands and in New York.
Next to teaching at various ballet schools in the Hague she also teaches at the Havo for dance at Codarts. She worked as a repetitor for several different productions and taught among others at Holland Dance,Segbroek Dans,and Jong Korzo.
For several years she also taught professional dance classes for Haagsche Dansetage,Dansateliers and the Stilte.
In 2017 Anouk has achieved her Teachers training Progressing Ballet Technique
Zaddik Gentille Francis
Classical ballet
Zaddik Gentille Francis (NL) graduated from Codarts, Rotterdam Dance Academy in 2007.
She is a very diverse teacher, dancer and creator working with a vast range of dance techniques. After her education she started to create her own work collaborating with i.g. Alchemy Ensemble (OperaDans), Focus Nobo, Flamenco dancer Marga Perez, Circle Percussion & Wilma Marrijnissen. As a teacher she has taught in a variety of schools from Holland to Sevilla to students that are toddlers to adults.
